Our Future Plans
Our current system setup is very small considering all the products we are able to offer. We are in the process of slowing down production on certain items. We also are going to focus on producing the items that sell the best. We are hoping between 1 to 2 years we will be setting up a whole new system that will be much bigger than the current one. When this happens we will expand our product line greatly. Because we are in the process of moving we are not selling anything at this time. We are sorry for the inconvenience and want to thank you for your business.
Home Raised Aquatics was founded in
2005 when I began breeding Tomato Clownfish. This website was slowly
started as a way for me to sell some of the products I was able to produce
at home. Because they are not produced on a large commercial scale the end
result is a product that is much more hardier and adaptive to the home
aquarium environment because it has lived its whole life there. The goal of
Home Raised Aquatics is to spread captive bred fish, corals and
invertebrates throughout the hobby.
Our website is growing and at this
point it is just a way to recoup some hobby
expenses and to further the availability of captive raised animals to the
saltwater hobby. It is important that we become more a self sustaining hobby as
exploitation, environment and political forces continue to tighten the grip
on our availability. We donate some of the extra proceeds to many wildlife
organizations such as the Florida Wildlife Commission, Save the Manatee
Club, The Rainforest Alliance, and the Ocean Conservancy.
